On last Thursday,we had a Communication for Leader session with Prof Syed Omar from UniRazak. He is very interesting person. He thought us on how to be a good leader so we can manage to have a good relationship with our subordinates and people around us.

For the assignment, we asked to choose a leader whose really inspiring people with their style of leadership and communication skills. After made a discussion, my group,Biolife decided to choose Sukarno, the 1st president of Indonesia as our idol.

Sukarno also known as Bung Karno was the leader of his country's struggle for independence from Netherlands and was Indonesia's first President from 1945 to 1967. He is a great orator. His nationalism spirit makes people inspiring and together they fight for their independence.Although Sukarno was an important symbol of the national struggle against the Dutch, he soon lost political ground to domestic rivals. By 1949 he was little more than a figurehead, while real political power lay with the prime minister. This arrangement was made official in new constitutions adopted in 1949 and 1950, which established a parliamentary, rather than presidential, political system for Indonesia.

It's time for grooming!!!!

Assalamualaikum & very great Friday!!


How's your day guys?Is it great?I hope it is..=)

For today's class,we have very interesting,exciting grooming session with our gorgeous trainer, Miss Lela.I'm sure everyone loves grooming class right?Especially girls.So do I. We've learned how to choose suitable smart casual outfit when attend a formal occasions,meeting etc.It include the right outfit that suit us which are the measurement,style,colour etc. Other than this grooming session also stress on personal care and hygiene. This is important as it will make a great impression when you attend an important meeting or an interview that make you setting yourself apart from less tidy competitors or other applicants.

Besides, we also thought on table etiquette. It's funny when all the knife,folk & spoon flying over the table. This will help us through any formal or semi formal lunch party or dinner party. Other than that, Miss Lela also invited her students Yasara to demonstrate the techniques to wear a suitable shawl for formal occasion. But I'm not interested with the style that she showed because it looks a bit messy. I prefer to wear shawl with less of "curvie" as it looks simple yet smart.

Overall, this grooming class is great!!Thumbs up!!=)

My first week with BEST

Its been a week I joined BEST programme. I have gained lots of precious experience during all session.This week,we've learned public speaking skills, how to conduct a meeting and how to make a good resume to attract employer to hire us.

In public speaking class,we've learned to build our confident to speak in front of public. There are lots of skills that were thought by our trainers, Mr Hisham and Miss Nani. They made the class so interesting. Other than that, each group were given a task to make a presentation of item that given to us. For my group, BIOSELF , we were given a teddy bear that we named as "moshi moshi bam bam".Cute right?=).So we have decided to make a sale-act. Every member of our team had to choose an adjective from the letter T,E,D,D,Y B,E,A & R to represent a best quality of our "moshi" bear. I've got the letter "A" so i chose adorable to describe the bear. I was so nervous but i still managed to deliver my presentation. I hope in the future, i can make a good presentation and apply all the knowledge I've gained.

For the conducting meeting class, we've learned to make an effective and efficient meeting. A good meeting is a very effective way of using people's time. It enables fast and effective communication between a group that important for development of the organization. The preparation for the meeting should be done properly like the importance of notice for meeting call. The notice should include the venue, date and agenda of the meeting. It should be sent out in time to allow everyone to study it and prepare for the meeting . Other than that, the trainer also stressed on the role of the chairperson. This person's role is to control the meeting and to encourage participation. He/she runs the agenda to make sure that everything is addressed. Also, he or she will clarify points, summarise positions and seek consensus. This session is so useful in assist us to make a decision on how to conduct a meeting as it essential for us know the skills, laws and ethics in meeting.

On Friday, we've learned how to make a good resume. As the trainers thought us, the resume can capture the employer's attraction in only 45 seconds. In order to make a good resume, we have to give a good 1st impression. Put best photo on the resume and use a font with a suitable size and style. Make it simple but it has to provide all information that useful such as the contact details,personal particulars,educational background,working experience.skills and don't forget to put a reference person in order to the future employer get an information from person who know you well. A resume is used to highlight our accomplishments to the employer so that they can assess whether we're an appropriate person for the position in their organization.

How to reach an audience through blogging


Blogging is nowadays famous activity for person to share their though,giving their opinion and share their passion about something. Blog can be personal blog or organizational blog.

Blog brings a new evolution in communication by providing an easy access to the people about what they want to search and find their desired information. In the world without barrier, blog has capture most people attention to use them as a path to let people know about the person and what they want to share. For organisation, this is the best opportunity to let people know about their company and introduce and advertise themselves to the world.This form of fast and global self-publishing, made possible by widely available technology.

HOW TO ATTRACT PEOPLE TO YOUR BLOG?
Blog should be interactive, allowing visitors to leave comments and even message via widgets on the blogs and it is this interactivity that distinguishes them from other website/blog. Other than that, blog also need to have a clear description on content. Other than that, the blog should make the reader/follower interested to continue reading the blog.


Most people have an area in which they are extremely knowledgeable, if not experts. For the blogger, choose something that you are knowledgeable of and interested in. In deciding the style of your blog, the blog should focus on saying something that is valuable. This will help you to stay focused and current with your postings. Besides, the readers will find the writing are more interesting and they too can share their thought by leaving their comment. Whenever you post an entry, don't forget to provide a link to some words. The link can be used by the reader to search on the topic at the other person's webpage. There's nothing wrong with that as long as it adds relevance and reliability to the your posting. You may gain a greater trust by your reader and it also link back to your own previous posting. If you wish to link the topic, don't forget to link back to old posts. The reader will not be confused after they've read that older post.

Finally, add some pictures or video that related to the post to capture the readers attention. Don't put too many pictures to avoid the post become pack and messy. Other than that, put a widget to beautify the blog but remember, the widget that are put should give a benefit to the reader and you such as calender, clock, prayer time etc. Don't put a widget that make the blog become crowded especially at the side corner of the blog.

New experience, New world


Today is my first day attending Best Programme held by biotechcorp.i think this is the best opportunity i should grab as the preparation for me to face the real career world. A bit nervous of course but yaaaa i have to poise and believe i can through this=)


For the newbies,we have to create a blog because the other participants that already attended the class for last week, they already learned how to create a blog and they asked to post an entry in their blog. So we start to create our own blog account, learned to use a suitable template and choose a widgets that can be put to decorate and may useful in the blog. We also learned the blogging skills from our trainers. I grab this opportinity to sharpen my blogging skills so i can create an interesting blog and attract people to read my post.

I will use this blog as a path to share my thought and pour my heart when my lips are sealed.Actually, I have my own favourite blog like adifstory and ariffshah.They are great blogger. I always follow their post because their thought are so inspiring and the words that they use are so beautiful. Maybe after this i should post more entry,share my thought and opinions with others and learn the art of blogging=)..
